WHAT'S IN A NAME?
What exactly does Swimmunity® mean? Well, it can actually be a couple of different things. It's the combination of swim + community. Or it can be read as swim(m) + unity. Either way, it gets the job done. Join this community to unite with other adults on our common quest of learning how to swim.
Fear of Water
Not sure if this is where to ask, this is my first time on the site, But does anyone know where in the Minneapolis area I can take a class for swimmers like me that were raised with this totally irrational fear of the water. And get this I live on a lake, would love to able to swim with kids and grandkids but I panic when I get in the water. I need to get over that to learn how to swim!

Jeff Krieger is a friend of mine. He has a very successful water phobia adult learn-to-swim program in New York. I recommend that you reach out to him and hopefully through his network of professionals he can direct you to someone in this area. http://www.waterphobias.com
